ABOUT
I am the Creator and Director of Fly High!: An Original Pop-rock Superhero Musical that shares an action-packed, uplifting story of Mexican heritage, belonging, and togetherness set in the windy city of Chicago. I began production of this musical in 2020 (in middle school) and have since developed it for five years. After 4+ drafts of the script, in both a stage and screenplay format, I received Semi-Finalist in the Orlando Film Festival (2023). I have also written/produced 13 original songs for the show in LogicPro and released an Official Concept Album to YouTube with singers from across the country in March of 2025.
However, what I am most proud of is my ability to advertise the musical. I primarily use social media outlets like Instagram and TikTok to market my musical, and have created both graphic and video promotional content over the years including logo design, poster design, and audition video reels. I have also designed the website for Fly High! making it an easy space for viewers to learn about the musical, seamlessly locate information about auditioning, and easily track our Instagram and YouTube sites.
Objectives:

Increase engagement on Social Media and grow the Instagram account following from scratch (0 followers).

Increase view count on TikTok and drive traffic towards interactive musical content with original reels.

Receive auditions through advertisements on Social Media to create a cast for a Cast Album.
Outcome:

Grew audience by 850+ followers across all social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

Reels on TikTok accumulated to over 175k+ views and continue to increase over time.

Received enough auditions to create a stellar cast. Recorded and released the Cast Album in March 2025.

Many of my social media posts are designed on Canva. I chose to create a unified color scheme of blue and yellow across all posts, as well as a similar, bold font pattern, to establish a cohesive theme of power, unity, and strength. Many of these posts are published to Instagram and TikTok.
COLOR PALETTE
Light blue represents peace and an everlasting confidence and trust for a better, hopeful future.
Dark blue represents the cold and distant part of ourseleves, longing to be seen and noticed.
Gold represents hope and strength with the power to achieve a more unified, inclusive world.
Yellow represents happiness and optimism as we strive to show that we all matter in this world.
FONTS
Anton
Norwester
The most common header font used for posts to distribute on select social media channels is Anton. This font is a seemingly perfect representation of strength and power, with its heightened angles in typography and classic super-hero-esque design. Extremely versatile, it is displayed in both regular and italicized forms in my campaign.
The second font used is Norwester, which is commonly used as body text. With its sharp angles and intricate lines, it is a significant portrayal of Fly High!'s reference to superpowers and their unpredictable, intense nature.
